This is a lesson I am using with my top set Yr9. I am going to show them how to form questions in Spanish, a list of question words and how to ask opinions on something. Asking opinions is part of the GCSE speaking exam so I think it is important that they start getting used to understanding and asking questions.
With this resource I am going to do a bit of revision of ‘The Preterite Tense’ with my Year 9 students. For our online meeting I have prepared two activities to do with them, one is a matching up card game, where they have to match the preterite tense verbs in Spanish with their English counterparts; the other one is a quiz with a “Who wants to be a millionaire” format.
Then, students will find 5 different activities, including reading, translation and gap fill.
If you like this resource, please leave a review, I would really appreciate it.

This is a PPT in English that I have designed to explain some of the most popular traditions in Spain at Christmas. It has a few links to Youtube videos to support the content.
This is a French lesson I have created for low ability French sets (yr8 & 9).
There are a total of 9 activities, including a video about different French Xmas tradition that they will have to watch and answer some questions about.
All answers provided and embedded in the Power Point.
Presentation about some Saint Valentine’s Day vocab in Spanish with some interactive activities to do with the students.
Includes a total of 46 slides with a vocab presentation and 4 interactive activities. Could be used as a starter for an online lesson.
This bundle contains three presentations about food in Spanish (food, vegetables and fruit) and includes interactive activities to do with the students.
Students have to translate five sentences by working their way up the grid. To make it more competitive, I tell them that if they mistake a mistake they lose their turn, but if they get a whole sentence right, they get one achievement point (or any other reward).
It is a very nice activity that can be easily modified and adapted to students needs.

This is a set of three worksheets that I have created to go along with Expo 2 vert (Module 1 - Unit 3 Au boulot), although the worksheets can be used on their own (I don’t really use the textbook much to be honest).
With this resource you will find 3 different worksheets (eight exercises in total) aim at low ability groups. They will practise jobs and their masculine and feminine forms.
I have attached the worksheets in PDF and also in a publisher document. Use the PDF if you don’t want to edit the document, as it includes fonts that you won’t have in your computer. If you want to edit and adapt the document, then you might have to change the title font or make it a bit smaller.
