This is a resource I’ve used in the middle of 1:1 tutoring sessions about la fête nationale and the French revolution. I’ve found it works well with lower-level GCSE pupils. Students listen to the story of the French revolution in simple French with pictures and keywords, and using the same slides then retell it in their own words in English. The resource includes a presentation to illustrate the story and suggestions for how to use the resource, including a possible script, both in PDF format.

Full 1 hour+ GCSE Spanish lesson based on a 260 word text about technology in Mexico. Includes a pre-reading speaking activity, a grammar focus on the verb haber, two AQA exam-style questions and a structured writing task.
