Italian RAG Tangled Translation - Il mio carattere
An Italian tangled translation on ‘carattere’ which is differentiated using the RAG system. Ideal for a KS3 mixed ability class and includes practice on in the first and third person as well as adjective agreement. Answers included and in PowerPoint so easily adapted.
French RAG Tangled Translation - AQA Past Paper Writing Examples (2019)
Example paragraphs taken from the mark scheme to the AQA French 2019 GCSE writing paper presented as a tangled translation activity and differentiated using the traffic light system.
There are 5 different paragraphs for pupils to work on:
Red - 2 x 150 word paragraphs (technology, holidays)
Amber -2 x 90 word paragraphs (school, celebrations)
Green - 40 word paragraph (healthy living)

French - Verb chasse au trésor game
A simple game/activity that practices conjugating verbs for all persons into the tense of your choice. (NB I have used this to practice ‘le passé composé’ the instructions will need changing if you are using a different tense).
Usually a really popular and engaging activity with pupils.
Instructions:
Choose a number on the grid
Correctly conjugate the verb in that box into the tense you are learning and the person that has been indicated.
If you answer correctly, click on the box to make it disappear
It will then reveal whether you have found the ‘treasure’
There are 9 pieces of treasure to find in total!
