I did this lesson as Part 2 for an Induction Day for Year 8’s coming to join our school in Year 9. It was fast paced and the kids seemed to really enjoy it.

This is a GCSE lesson following the OCR spec and textbook for Elizabeth I and her use of propaganda. Other than solely focusing on the many portraits of Elizabeth I, which demonstrate her power, this lesson looks at the other methods employed during her reign.
The lesson follows specification and mark-scheme. The main activity is based on the criteria to answer the exam source question.
