Mathematics Mastery is a professional development programme for teachers, inspired by Singapore and Shanghai. We work with schools to embed a mastery approach to mathematics teaching, aiming to improve pupils’ understanding, enjoyment and attainment in mathematics. Our key principles underpin all that we do. We have high expectations for every child. We teach fewer topics in greater depth. We emphasise problem-solving and conceptual understanding. Our comprehensive programme includes: • In-depth development training • A mastery curriculum with detailed programmes of study • Complete classroom resources for every lesson of the year • Collaborative workshops and events for ongoing PD • Specialist in-school support from a member of our team • A suite of assessment tools We're currently recruiting a limited number of schools to join the 2017-18 cohort.
