David Morse's Resources

Average Rating4.92
(based on 6960 reviews)

I regularly upload resources that I have created during 30 years as a teacher. Most of these are maths, but there are some ICT/Computing and Tutor Time activities. All of the resources are my own and are not available from third-parties. The resources have been tweaked over time and I have had many happy lessons and shed-loads of happy and successful students. At the end of 2017 the TES announced that I was the most downloaded new author and in 2018 another 2 million were added to the count.

Equations with Composite Functions (Worksheet with FULL solutions)

Equations with Composite Functions (Worksheet with FULL solutions)

(6)
A worksheet that contains equations with composite functions and includes when a composite is equal to an inverse. All the equations will develop into quadratics that can be factorised. For this reason, this worksheet is excellent for higher GCSE students who want practice with their algebra, as well as with functions. The first questions are reasonably straightforward and typical of GCSE. The last row is particularly challenging and great preparation for students aiming for level 8 and 9.

A-Level Summary Notes (with detailed solutions)

(15)
These are (were) my C1 summary notes. The questions are carefully selected and have fully-worked solutions. Perfect for re-sit students to self-study, but I continue to use the relevant sections for GCSE 9-1 and the new A-level. Topics covered are: 1. Rules of Indices 2. Surds 3. Simultaneous Equations (Involving Quadratics) 4. Solving Inequalities 5. Factorising Cubics 6. Completing the Square 7. Sketching Graphs 8. Understanding the Discriminant 9. Transformations of Functions 10. Co-ordinates and Straight Line Graphs 11. Intersections of Graphs
 12. Differentiation and Integration 13. Equations of Tangents and Normals 14. Terms in a Sequence 15. Arithmetic Series
GCSE Revision (Interior and Exterior Angles)

GCSE Revision (Interior and Exterior Angles)

(24)
Ideal for GCSE revision, this worksheet contains exam-type questions that gradually increase in difficulty. This sheet covers interior and exterior angles in polygons. The complete range of KS3/GCSE skills are covered and there are some problems solving questions at the end. These review sheets are great to use in class or as a homework. They are also excellent for one-to-one tuition and for interventions. For similar-style revision sheets on other topics, click 👉 tes.com/../more... Answers are included, as is a NEW STYLE of PowerPoint, which allows individual questions to be selected for enlarged display onto a screen. The answer can then be worked out ‘live’ by the teacher (or student) or a single click will reveal my solution. This not only helps in class, but it is also very useful for a student who is revising at home 😀. 👍If you like this resource, then please rate it and/or leave a comment💬. Pi and the Circumference of Circles (Complete Unit)

Pi and the Circumference of Circles (Complete Unit)

(37)
Four carefully thought-out worksheets, which have helped many classes focus on working out the circumference of a circle or perimeter of a part-circular shape. There are also questions that require students to work backwards to find the diameter (or radius) when the circumference (or perimeter) is given. There are plenty of worded problems and an excellent sheet on finding perimeters of more complex shapes with curves. My students always really enjoy working through these sheets. -- The sheets can be used for work in class or as a homework. They are also excellent for one-to-one tuition and interventions. Solutions are included.
