Slideshow aimed at ages 9-13 that covers the background of Musical Theatre as well as an in-depth listening task to familiarise students with the different types of Musical Theatre songs. The listening task features youtube hyperlinks to modern clips from Beauty and the Beast, The Lion King, Les Miserables and Annie. This powerpoint gives students a strong introduction to Musical Theatre that would work as a stand-alone lesson, or as the beginning of a series.
