Secondary Science (KS3 and KS4 lessons) from Miss-Tee

Average Rating4.48
(based on 45 reviews)

I teach secondary science. I have resources for KS3 (our school uses the exploring science SOW) and GCSE (AQA 9-1 for both combined and triple). I have PPTs and resources for entire units. The PPTs are interactive, with clear instructions for staff and students and plenty of cues (e.g. pen means write), starters, plenaries and YouTube links. I also have a number of standalone free resources, but the complete units of work are paid as they have taken weeks of work to put together.

Aluminium Electrolysis Worksheet AQA 9-1 (FOUNDATION)

A worksheet breaking down the main points of aluminium electrolysis. Does not include half equations as this is for a foundation class. From Chemistry Chapter 4: Chemical Changes for the AQA GCSE 9-1 Combined Science Specification. Can also be used as a recap/introduction for higher students. Best used after watching the attached clip.

AQA 9-1 GCSE Chemistry - Structure and Bonding (C2) COMBINED

Complete unit of work (PPTS, worksheets, exam Qs, mock exams with answers), for the AQA GCSE Chemistry Chapter 2 Structure and Bonding unit. This is missing the single lesson on nanoparticles which would make it suitable for triple science, but the other 11 lessons out of 12 are combined only. PPTs are fully interactive and ready to use (e.g. contain a pen symbol for students to write etc), videos, clear and concise explanations that have taken me hours to make. This batch is suitable for foundation students, but can be tweaked for higher students too. PPTs with the letters “RG” are differentiated printout slides for an SEN student in my class who struggles with note-taking.

4 elements per page, with the atomic and mass numbers to one decimal place, as well as the full name and symbol Different 'families' (eg- the halogens, the alkali metals) can be printed on different coloured paper, cut, laminated, and then stuck up on the wall. Print A5 for smaller displays. The biggest, clearest, no-nonsense periodic table you can find! Enjoy!

Students can take an element box and write down the symbol, element name, atomic and mass numbers. They can all be assembled into a giant periodic table for a display. A list of element data and instruction sheet (with conditions etc) is also included. Edit as necessary :)

Students write any keyword in the middle and write a definition, draw a picture, use the word in a sentence and write related words around it. Useful for revision, or for activities. Can be used for anything, not just science ^_^
