Racial/Gender Stereotypes in Film Posters - Black Lives Matter
Two lessons that discuss racial and gender stereotypes; focusing on film posters but with some history of those stereotypes.
There are a few clips and documentaries to watch and also some annotating activities (with answers/guidance for teachers) and exam style questions.
Both lessons are created on the back of Black Lives Matter to help students gain a better understanding of racial inequality in the media and how that helps to determine our unconscious bias.
