This is an amazing resource that I made to get children of any age (I use it for primary and secondary) to look at a wider range of texts and to develop understanding in all areas of writing (eg. structure, layout, purpose, format, text type).
This resource is 34 pages but is set to print as an A5 booklet. It has a front cover, a page on how 20 minutes of reading a day can improve reading dramatically, a page on how to prepare yourself to get the best out of reading, a page on how to use the book and a page on all the types of texts the student needs to read. These include newspapers, play scripts, comics, football report, diary, letter, fiction and non-fiction etc. There are a total of 14 to be completed.
I give these to my students to complete at home and at least 1 should be done per week; but they could be done in school time.
I hope you like it:)
A great way of teaching students how fundraising makes a difference with this big cheque! I designed and made this for when our primary students did their business enterprise challenge; where they raised over £200 for the local hospital!
I put our school logo on the top right-hand corner, I have left a space for you to edit whatever you like in.
Could also be used for maths lessons!
To print: either paper/card and laminate to be able to re-use. I also thought 12 pages was too long so have not used the last 2 pages of the banner; you can either make it bigger or not print the last two pages.
Hope you like it:)
