This is a resource I use with my SEN students who are completing IT courses.
Students are tasked with creating and conducting a survey (to work on their communication skills and confidence).
Students have to find out what types of computer products people prefer (Laptop, Mobile, Smart Watch etc.)
It can also be used to develop students’ Excel document skills by collating the results into a bar chart or graph.
Perfect for Entry Level 3 and above.

This is a resource I use for students who are completing IT, ICT or EDSQ (Essential Digital Skills Qualification) sessions.
At the beginning of the year, the students state what their IT/ICT EHCP goal is and how they will achieve it in sessions.
This resource is then used to review progress and achievement half way through the year and again at the end of the year.

Film Media Studies IMDB Research Task
This resource can be used for students completing a Film or Media Studies course.
This is a 3 page research task using the IMDB (Internet Movie Database) website.
Students are asked to research their favourite film on the IMDB website.
It provides the opportunity for students to recognise websites as a source of information.
This resource could also be adapted for ICT/Computing Internet research tasks.

I use this ICT/Computing resource as an extension task during ICT sessions.
This is an Excel Spreadsheet task, where students are asked to research the costings for an ICT computer system.
This resource can support budgeting skills for SEN students doing ICT courses.
This resource could also be used as a substitute teacher resource.
ICT Computing Computer Abbreviations Extension Task
I use this ICT/Computing resource as a short extension task during ICT sessions or for students studying EDSQ (Essential Digital Skills Qualification).
It could also be used as a quick assessment after completing lessons related to computer abbreviations.
