This is a short road safety quiz, with statistical information provided by the World Health Organisation about road traffic injuries in youths.
It also provides information on how to cross the road safely.

EDSQ Essential Digital Skills Qualification Portfolio Evidence Sheets Entry 3
5 pages of evidence assessment sheets for the Entry Level 3 EDSQ course, perfect for organising and building portfolio’s of work.
ICT tutors can use the evidence assessment sheets to state what evidence is provided in the students portfolios, when students have demonstrated practical IT skills or completed paperwork for their EDSQ course.

It gives advice to students of things they need to consider when planning their journey.
It also encourages budgeting skills.

This is a resource I use for students that require Travel Training sessions.
This resources gives students the opportunity to thoroughly plan their journey via public bus.
CEIAG Media Studies Career Job Skills Research
I use this resource for CEIAG (Careers Education Information Advice & Guidance) sessions for Media Studies sessions.
(It could be adapted to suit your subject area).
It recaps the 5 different media sectors and the students can then choose a media sector to research a career they may be interested in, to discover what skills, qualities and qualifications are needed.
Suitable for Entry Level 3+ students.
I use this PowerPoint with the accompanying worksheet.
The slides also demonstrates how what the students have been doing/learning in sessions is relevant to a potential career in media.

This is a resource I use with students completing a Functional Skills - English/Literacy course.
It is a Speaking and Listening task, where students have to partake in a group discussion lasting 10 minutes.
The group discussion is about favourite foods.
This resource could be used for SEN students, to support them with the Speaking and listening course criteria.
EDSQ Essential Digital Skills Qualification Pearson Entry 3 Year Plan 2023-2024
A scheme of work year plan (overview) for the IT/Computing Essential Digital Skills Qualification (EDSQ) for Entry Level 3.
Using the Pearson curriculum specification (although can easily be adapted to suit other awarding bodies such as NOCN or OCN).
Starting the academic year 2023-2024.
Useful as a guide when creating your scheme of work.
Ideal for SEN students, the course curriculum is spaced out through the year to allow plenty of time for completion and repeat assessments if needed.

Travel Training SEN Initial Assessment
This is an Initial Assessment that I use with SEN students who require Travel Training sessions.
The student fills in the assessment to gauge what the students are/are not confident with in regards to travelling on public transport (buses and the Metro or Tube).
This information can then be used to inform Travel Training session content.
I usually get the students to redo the assessment later in the year to determine the progress made.
Easily adapted from Metro to Tube if needed.

This resource can be used for students that require Rarpa (Recognising and Recording Progress and Achievement); it is linked to the PfA (Preparing for Adulthood) goal/target:

If students have set up their own personal independent living skills goal, tutors or LSA’s can provide a witness statement towards this goal.
There is also an accompanying evidence sheet, where students can then provide photographic evidence for the goal.

I use this ICT/Computing resource as a short extension task during ICT sessions or for students studying EDSQ (Essential Digital Skills Qualification).

Video Game Genre Mind Map Lesson Starter Media Studies
A game genre mind map to use in Gaming or Media Studies.
Students have to name as many game genres as they can, their favourite game genre and to name a game from that genre.
I use this resource as a lesson starter when teaching video game genre.
