I use this resource for students completing the NOCN (National Open College Network) L2 Work Experience course. Tutors can use the 3 evidence assessment sheets to state what evidence is provided in the students portfolios, when students have completed paperwork for their NOCN Work Experience Level 2 course. Course code: NOCN Y/505/4679 I have embedded this NOCN course into Graphic Design sessions for SEN students, but it could be used in a variety of vocational sessions, such as Cookery, Woodwork etc.

They are usually placed in front the accompanying NOCN Human Growth & Development Entry Level 3 Portfolio Assessment Sheets (which are an opportunity for students to provide photographic evidence for their qualification). This resource is useful to helpful to engage SEN students with an interest in sports; it could even be used as an IT session as an Internet research task, for substitute teaching or as part of Functional Skills English.

I use this resource with the accompanying PowerPoint for CEIAG (Careers Education Information Advice & Guidance) sessions in Media Studies sessions. Students recap the 5 different media sectors and then research a career in the media sector (via the PowerPoint/Group Discussion). Afterwards, the students can complete this worksheet, stating what skills and qualities are needed for the chosen career and how they have been working on these within sessions. Can be easily adapted to suit your subject area.
