GCSE Old Spec. Exam Practise scheme lesson This is one lesson from a set of 9 that have all been uploaded separately. Although, the Old specification is no longer used for GCSE, I am aware of colleagues that still use past papers for teaching the skills for the new spec. Therefore, althout these lessons may not be relevant in the mainstream, they can be adapted and still used for revision purposes.

This is one of several tutorials that I use with pupils to get them to invesitigate an element of pre 1914 poetry so that they can present back to the class and teach the class. This is a year 9 lesson. The images are all of my own and are my daughter when she was much younger. The idea is that pupils try to guess who the objects belong to and explain why - it's about using stereotypes to address a reader.
