Simpsons Why Do Famous People Appear? This is a full lesson PP – and it ties into others that I have also uploaded – can be used as a standalone lesson and asks pupils to consider why famous people would appear as character – intended as a piece of report writing.

Full lesson PP – adapting a book into a film This lesson is designed to show pupils how to turn a book of their choice into a film and then pupils create a film trailer by using images and moviemaker.

With this lesson PP pupils work in groups to storyboard the opening to a film. They turn your narritive into a storyboard and then you show them the opening - you will need a copy of Shrek to show them the opening credits. Pupils love the suprise when they see what the opening sequence is and how different it is to their own.

After recieving notes on work / pre work, pupils work together to think about how imporvements can be made and then complete this sheet.
