This is one of several powerpoint lessons that I have uploaded for key Stage 3 pupils. The lessons are skills based and all cover war texts - from a variety of different wars. The lessons are contextualised in terms of the war period that the text originates from. The lesson is ready to teach, although you will wish to adapt and differentiate. OfSted Outstanding Literacy All lessons Starter: With a new shift in focus for the 2012 framework that means that teaching and learning can only be judged outstanding if literacy and numeracy are encorporated across the curriculum, I am making a daily starter / settler activity that can be incorporated into all lessons. These mini activities are examples of a literacy activity & there is a tutorial before each.
