Spreadsheet with 5 different tabs to help you to monitor and communicate about student attendance effectively As a Deputy Head of Year, my role within my year team is monitoring student attendance and intervening when necessary. I send this weekly bulletin out to my tutors to communicate group and individual attendance, as well as share notices and notify for attendance reports. A 6 week small-group intervention designed to help students improve their attendance.I am a Deputy Head of Year and I run this intervention once a week in form time for a small group of three at the time. These interventions are aimed at students who are Pupil Premium and I provide breakfast for them. Each session includes a wellbeing check-in and a reflection aimed at improving their attendance.
