A differentiated quiz with 45 fact-packed questions for 50 points. This activity is based on the topics of arts, history and politics, geography, food and drink, travel and tourism in France. Three levels of differentiation with answer sheets! It is advised that learners should use an electronic device, e.g. computer, notebook or at least a mobile phone in order to research their answers. The two answer sheets differ only in that one is in English and the other in French. All questions are the same at all levels on all 3 question sheets, though one English version has the number of points to be gained written into each section and into answer boxes if more than 1 point to help learners. Therefore I created this work book to include many of the tasks which I have given my students over the years. The majority of films I have shown throughout my career have been in the French or German language. Therefore, I am including a French and a German version as well as an English version of this work book. Feel free to switch and swap the tasks as you may like to offer your students a mixture of English and either French or German depending on your subject and on their level of language. Pages can stand alone as individual work sheets as long as you remove the numbers from the tasks. All of the tasks assume that you, as the teacher, have watched the movie prior to showing it to and discussing it with your students. Please bear in mind that since this is merely a generic work book, you will need to complete several of the sections in order to direct the tasks at your chosen movie.
