Here we have a week of planning (5 lessons) on Place Value and Statistics. The planning is aimed at a higher level Year 2 (England) or Grade 1 (Australia). The Learning Objectives are:
How to compare, order and find numbers on a hundred square when given their relative position.
How to identify, represent and estimate numbers using a tally chart, pictogram and a number line.
How to compare and order numbers using the symbols <, > and =.
To identify and represent data in a Tally Chart, Bar Chart and a Pictogram

The planning has been designed to be easily adaptable for lockdowns/home learning. This is why the whole week is on one single PowerPoint which clearly details the learning objectives, the instructions along with 3 differentiated tasks for each day. This can easily be uploaded to applications such as Seesaw for home learning.

Here I have planned 13 lessons in Number for year 1 maths. The planning is detailed planning including learning objectives, success criteria, teacher input and differentiated independent activities/challenges. Furthermore, the planning is in WORD to enable you to easily edit it to suit your own class/school’s planning format.
