The U.K. Pack of Landmark Cards features 30 landmarks from the U.K. including all main political buildings, various religious buildings, as well as buildings by BAME designers.
The Landmark Card collections are resources primarily designed to support construction and creation within continuous provision; by covering multiple curriculum areas such as geography, history, maths, science and more!
The front of each card has: the name of the landmark; a large photograph, to support construction and design; a timeline with the date it was created, along with other important historical dates for comparison; and a box of facts, which includes materials used, measurements, and other interesting information.
On the reverse, there are three parts: a world map showing the seven continents (each colour coded to match the cards); a country map showing the location of the landmark, and an aerial/ satellite image of the landmark so children can locate it and compare it to other human and physical features nearby.
The World Pack of Landmark Cards features more than 40 landmarks from all seven continents, including various religious buildings as well as landmarks from across time.
