As a successful science teacher and faculty leader it is my duty to make science accessible and fun for all, increasing prosperity and success within the science industry at a time where we need it most. These resources are aimed at changing the standard pedagogical approach to teaching and put a new modern touch to delivering science lessons through eye catching yet relevant imagery and questioning to allow independent exploration.

This resource covers the content for the lesson SB9a - Ecosystems. This resource starts with a visually engaging slide with the date, title and two starter questions, an easier question (green) and more abstract question (orange) to stretch and challenge. Learning outcomes are displayed at the start of the PowerPoint and can be seen throughout and referred back to reinforce the learning journey. Key content/words are highlighted in red text throughout. You will find similar green and orange questions scattered throughout the resource to strengthen and develop understanding. The lesson ends on an exam style question to allow students to apply their learning. This resource is aimed to be able to be used by an teacher, specialist, or non-specialist to deliver this portion of the curriculum accurately and effectively.

"Why can’t revision be fun?" A question I used to hear before any formative or summative assessment. Truth is, revision can be fun. Why not give this game of snakes and ladders a go. The board is riddled with questions from the topic CB1 and players must wind their way through the board and up the ladders in order to win. But be careful, there are some sneaky snakes and tricks boxes out there too to catch you out. The first to the finish line wins. My students loved this game. Its interactive, competative and effective. Good luck and enjoy! :)
