There are opportunities to analyse the long and short term changes in climate and the effect of rising sea levels on Wales. Different views and attitudes about the causes of climate change are presented and a view on how governments intend to tackle the problem in regards of transport and agriculture are considered.

In this Unit, pupils will gain awareness of some Countries where Spanish is spoken around the world, learn how to greet Spanish Speaking people, introduce themselves and say where they live. Pupils will also learn about adjectives of Nationality and gain awareness of the linguistic pattern of Masculine and Feminine adjectival forms. The Unit comprises of interactive activities for Listening, Reading and Writing and includes printable vocabulary lists and Oral worksheets. Each section is accompanied by teachers’ notes with suggestions on how to use each resource.

My Square Mile was initiated by the Design Commission for Wales to encourage the use of the local built environment as an educational resource. It explores relationships between buildings, space and people to develop design awareness. It helps children understand how the environment is shaped and managed. It celebrates local distinctiveness and local identity. It nurtures emotional attachments and belonging-a sense of place. It raises issues about what the environment might be like in the future.
