Performing Arts Pic 'n' Mix Homework/Cover

(0)
I found setting homework or cover for a Performing Arts Lesson almost like a tick box exercise where only 40% of the class would ever complete! I therefore created this Pic ‘n’ Mix task sheet where students take ownership of their learning and choose the tasks to complete. There are many ways to use; Use across the whole of performing arts and make sure students complete tasks for all 3 subjects. Use across the whole year with the aim that they complete a task from every box (6 boxes, 6 terms). Use for each unit of work and give students freedom to choose. Each box has a specific focus such as IT, English, Design… Can be printed in A4 or A3.

Focused mainly on Component 1/2 (Devising from a stimulus). Great for SEN/EAL and LSA’s to use. Keywords Overview of GCSE OCR Drama Warm-up games Creating a character Key Drama elements and definitions Story Mountain Types of structure Stage Types Blocking Working with a stimulus Devising Techniques How to write a log book How to write an evaluation OCR Grading Criteria Useful Websites
