A scavenger hunt activity based around various aspects our solar system.

There are 2 question cards on each sheet [12 sheets in total]. They can be printed in greyscale or colour. Save paper and time by laminating the cards and keeping them as class sets.
Set the cards out around the room at numbered stations [numbers are included on each card]. Provide each student or pair of students with a blank solution grid for writing the answer to the question stated on each card. Students move from station to station answering the question as they go.
Great as a group extension or consolidation activity or for early finishers.

The Newton’s Laws of Motion card sort is comprised of 24 cards and is a great way for students to practice identifying the three different laws of motion. Each card has a description and an image.
Simply print and then cut out the set of cards [laminate if you wish to make class sets]. Students then shuffle the cards and sort them into their correct sets [1st Law, 2nd Law, 3rd Lawl]. Once sorted students write their answers onto the answer sheet provided. Includes an answer key.

Phases of the Moon Fact Fan
The Phases of the Moon Fact Fan provides students with a fun way to research and present information on the Moon’s phases.
Print onto A4 paper or for a more durable set light weight card.
Students complete the research, cut out each fact fan and then hole punch them and fasten the set with a brad fastener or split pin.

Read out the clues provided and have students place a cross through the circled word.
The first student to get all of the clues raises their hand or shouts “bingo” or both!
