French complex structures. French GCSE/early A level grammar worksheets on avoir expressionswhich includes grammatical rules and a variety of scaffolded activities. There are quite a lot of sentences to translate into French and into English to help your students with their writing skills but also their translation ones.
(avoir peur de, avoir mal, avoir envie de, avoir besoin de, etc.)
To stretch your most able students, they will also be asked to use the verb ‘to have’ with different tenses. (help provided)
I made sure to use common nouns and verbs found in GCSE core vocabulary lists so that the focus can solely be on grammatical concepts.

I wrote paragraph using grammatical structures seen in allez 2 2.1 - 2.2 and 2.3
(ce que j’aime le plus/le moins - direct object pronouns - ça me fait / ça me rend, etc.)
The text is quite challenging in term of grammar as I will be using some sentences from the text to stretch my most able students (analyse “après avoir regardé”, for instance.
Included : vocabulary search - true false (target language) - grammar check up
+++ I added what I used the following lesson (guidance to help my students write a paragraph about films/music)
Lesson to braimstorm sports & opinions.
The worksheet includes:
Match-up activity (sports/opinions (including “ce que j’aime” to stretch students’ ability)
