A knowledge organiser is also attached to this lesson to give you an idea of topics I covered in this unit. Here is more information regarding lessons with PowerPoints you will find in my shop: Each lesson comes with a .doc booklet and a PowerPoint with answers included to make your life easier. Each lesson builds onto the previous ones to enhance prior knowledge and help students retain vocabulary. Sentence builders are key elements of each lesson. I made sure to use a wide range of activities for the four skills: reading, listening, speaking and writing. There are no listening tracks. I wrote the transcripts (which are included in the PowerPoint) and I usually either record myself or read it at loud. I hope this will work well for you. You might want to edit/tweak the starter activity I created as it is usually linked to previous topics to reactivate prior knowledge. French complex structures. French GCSE/early A level grammar worksheets on direct object pronounswhich includes grammatical rules and a variety of scaffolded activities. There are quite a lot of sentences to translate into French and into English to help your students with their writing skills but also their translation ones. I made sure to use common nouns and verbs found in GCSE core vocabulary lists so that the focus can solely be on grammatical concepts. Do not hesitate to check my shop as more complex structures are available to help your GCSE/A level students stretch their knowledge of French grammar. These challenging but yet accessible worksheets are great for independent learning, homework, revision, extension tasks or even home learning. They are mostly targeted for GCSE students but can also be used at the start of Y12 to help your students brush up on French grammar. They can start working with the sentence builders with ENG & FR translations (choral repetition, dictations, trapdoor activities, etc.) Then, you could give them the same sentence builders without the EN translations and do some more work on it. To finish, there are sentences for them to translate. They could do some from memory. Pupils should also be pushed to make their own sentences / come up with their own examples I hope this helps.
