Standard Form (WHOLE UNIT)
This resource contains a power point presentation that covers: converting numbers to and from standard form, calculating with standard form by adding and subtracting and multiplying and dividing - theses parts of the topic are covered over a series of different lessons. This pack also contains a summary homework, a mark scheme for it, a test at the end to check pupils understanding by using past paper questions and lastly a mark scheme for it.
Limits of Accuracy
This is a full lesson with a PowerPoint presentation and summary homework based on limits of accuracy. The PPT contains examples, a starter, a pleanary, an exercise to help pupils practise what they have just learnt and a range of different exam questions that range from the small marked ones to the more problem-solving ones. The summary homework contains a wide range of questions to help pupils to summarise what they have learnt but also to see as a teacher what they have and haven't understood. The summary homework also has a mark scheme to help you to mark it quickly.
Multiplying and Dividing Fractions
The power point contains a starter, examples and exercises with answers to help to develop pupils understanding of multiplying and dividing fractions. This lesson also contains an extension sheet for pupils to further practise multiplying and dividing fractions.
Index Notation and Fractional Indices (WHOLE UNIT)
This pack contains a power point that is broken up into two lessons which cover's index notation and fractional indices. Each lesson contains a starter, examples, top tips, exercises, exam practices and even a plenary.
This pack also contains a summary homework to help assess what aspects of both of the lessons pupils have and haven't understood but also a mark scheme is included.
Venn Diagram (WHOLE LESSON)
A power point to help pupils to get to grips with drawing, interpreting and using Venn diagrams to calculate probabilities. This lesson also contains a worksheet with a range of different questions that could be asked in an exam but also an extension task to show pupils the types of exam questions that can be asked. The answers for the worksheet is on the PPT and the mark scheme for the extension is also attached.
Factorising Quadratics (2 LESSONS)
A PPT which covers 2 lessons on factorising quadratics- The first lesson looks at factorising quadratics like x^2 + 2 + 4 and the second lesson looks at factorising quadratics when there is a number in front of x^2.
Each lesson has a starter which focuses on exam practice, a range of different examples, an exercise, exam practice and a plenary.

Substituting Numbers into an Expression
A resource pack that helps pupils to get to grips with substituting numbers into an expression.
Starter: Exam Practice- help pupils to recap over the basic questions in the exam that they SHOULD NOT get wrong.
Examples: Explains to pupils how to substitute numbers into an expression- use of colours to show where each number came from.
Main task: Worksheet to work on the knowledge they just gained and to put what they had learnt into practice. (Answers on the PPT)
Extension: Building on what they have learnt into exam questions. (Answers included in PDF format)
Plenary: To reflect upon what they have been able to do, what they need to improve and their TOP TIP for answering these style questions. (Plenary on the main worksheet)
Year 7- 3 bits of Maths Homework- (Non-Calculated)
3 weeks of maths homework for year 7. The homework is non-calculated and can be used as revision ready for a Maths Test or end of year test.
It can also be used for the National Numeracy Tests in Wales.
I have also given a copy of the blank table so you can create your own homework for a topic or for some revision.
You can also use these sheets as a starter or a plenary.

Surds (WHOLE UNIT)

Each lesson contains Past Paper Questions, a starter and a plenary, examples but also exercises for pupils to complete after the examples so that they can practise what they have learnt. This pack also has a summary homework and test.
Changing the subject of a formula (WHOLE LESSON)
This lesson focus on changing the subject of a formula. The lesson pack includes a PPT, a worksheet and an extensions tasks (all with answers). The PPT has a starter which focuses on exam practice, a range of examples that cover different types of changing the formula questions and a plenary to give pupils time to reflect on the lesson.
Quadratic Formula (WHOLE LESSON)
A lesson on solving quadratics using the quadratic formula.
The lesson includes a starter which focuses on quadratics, exam tips, examples with a step by step guide, an exercise for pupils to put into practise what they have learnt, exam practise using past paper questions so they can see how it is asked in the exam and even a plenary so pupils can reflect and evaluate their progress in the lesson.

Direct and Inverse Proportion GCSE HIGHER (WHOLE 2 LESSONS)
This pack contains a PPT which covers exam practise starters, examples for pupils to visually see how to answer direct and inverse proportion questions, plenaries so pupils are able to reflect on their own learning and learning of others in the class.
Lesson 1: Direct proportion- contains a worksheet (WITH ANSWERS!!) and an extension sheet that covers common past paper questions (WITH ANSWERS!!) This lesson is covered from slide 1 to 6.
Lesson 2: Inverse proportion- contains a worksheet with a range of questions that pupils could expect in their exams (This also contains ANSWERS) This lesson is covered from slide 7 to 12.
