My store has a range of resources in Speech and Language, SEND and Computing. It includes an Advanced form of 'Colourful Semantics' which I called 'Colourful Speech' which I developed to be used with one-to-one, small groups and whole class teaching it spans across the curriculum. It helps children to understand grammar and word groups as they progress through their learning journey. I love creating bespoke resources to help children with specific needs.

It is an essential resource for educators packed with creative ideas and resources for busy teachers. It has easy to read content and a vast array of activities that support in teaching young people to identify and understand their feelings and sense of self. It supports discussion and empathy from different perspectives on how to live with difference, communicate well and develop a sense that they are part of a community. It is an inspirational approach to education, an incredibly useful tool in the classroom and for life.

Children learn how to communicate and share information in a variety of different ways.
They learn how to stay safe when using the Internet and how to keep personnel information private.
They talk about current issues such as Cyber bullying/friendship, mobile phone use and sensible and safe use of all Technology.
They also talk about being aware of how long they spend using this Technology and how they can take ownership of their usage.
They discuss ‘The right to be unavailable’ and talk about turning off mobile phones and other devices.
We try to help them understand that social networking is a wonderful way to communicate but that it can be time consuming and demanding if not used carefully.
I hope these resources help you to ensure that your children have the knowledge to keep themselves safe and the tools to deal with problems or dangers that arise.
