This is a quiz I made that is intended to be used for at least 50 minutes. As such, it is good for end of year lessons and or team building lessons. Split into 5 rounds, it is all based on general science knowledge (with the exception of the music round) and the answers are included.
Students will find this great fun in teams!

This is the introductory lesson to a scheme of work I wrote on Electricity for KS3. This could be taught to any year, however as it is a stripped down version of the content in the AQA Physics Specification and as such is designed to be most useful for that course.
Lesson one revises content that should have been delivered in KS2, namely what a conductor and an insulator are. I have also added in the learning mat I made for the lesson as well.
Please bear in mind that this lesson is designed for a 50 minute period, and as such you may need to add in another activity if you are an hour lesson.
This resource contains a powerpoint and an learning mat. The content is a 50 min lesson on different models of circuit (for non specialists, I have included a slide at the start that may be useful). The idea is simply to demonstrate the models and evaluate each one. There are extra activities/printouts at the end of the powerpoint if needed.
I have also included the learning mat that goes with this lesson that can be stuck into books.
This is intended as a revision worksheet summary of the Waves topic in AQA Physics 2016. This includes the content relevant to the Trilogy and the Combined Science award. I have managed to keep them on separate pages, so simply print the pages you require (page 2 is Physics Only).
I have used the AQA specification to create all of these questions and as such should not be missing anything major from the topic.
The last slide are question cards you can hand out as an extension for students who finish to make their own questions for their peers.
Lesson used for an interview for an Edexcel P3 lesson. Includes activities on Centripetal Motion and the mechanics of Cyclotrons. All worksheets are provided at the end of the presentation.
This is very simply just a big picture. What I have done is make these three colours using the three primary light colours red, green and blue. I have made it big enough so that you will need to really zoom in in order to see the individually coloured pixels.
I have looked all over this internet for a similar type of "wow factor" demonstration of light illusions and could find none.

This will then generate a printout on the second sheet that you can give to the class to save you writing it all!
I have left this one populated with some responses that I used as an example - it was for a Hooke's Law 6 mark Question (this can be found packaged together with this generator)
This can be adapted to any topic or task and will drastically cut down on your writing during assessment and still provide in depth guidance!

These two resources are to be used as part of a Physics Forces topic as an assessment of sorts. The class are to answer the 6 mark question using the success criteria provided, then you will take these home to mark and assess a level achieved.
