Suitable for KS2 and KS3 classes. The lesson highlights how pupils can vary their sentence openings to engage their readers. Pupils assess the effect of a series of sentence openers, they then break down the differences between the sentence openings, before creating their own story using a stimuli, which has built up from previous activities.
