A booklet to aid ‘spontaneous’ TL speech in the classroom with Year 7. Print double sided. Plenty of space to fill in anything they come across and would like to remember. Final column in the grid shows how to pronounce the French.

Some holidays verbs in a grid in different tenses with English. Blank grid on second page for pupils to fill in themselves when they come across other verbs.

A guided sheet to work towards a speaking and writing on leisure in French. Change the "grade" bits to fit with what your school does!

Group activity. Once pupils familiar with vocabulary to describe houses, this can be attempted. First activity: fill in the sheet with the boxes by reading the letter text. Next, each group has a colour picture of a house and tries to create a description of it. They can then present the description to the class who can (hopefully) work out which house they are describing.

Leisure activities to categorise into genders.

Both verbs written out with gaps to fill in. Makes a good test to see if pupils have learnt the verbs! Or good quick revision starter.

Viva 1 Module 1 U1-5 Mi Vida Spanish Snakes and Ladders Game Viva 1 Module 1 consolidation A lively and interactive Spanish game for your young learners to use their Viva 1 Module 1 language. Involves vocabulary recall and translation Spanish-English, English-Spanish plus answering and asking questions. Covers the topics in this unit as per the text book.
