This was used with classes of both higher and foundation tier but not with extremely high attaining students so some adapting may need to be done if that is what you want.

Covers learning aims: Explain the process of corrosion, issues with corrosion and methods of prevention.
I used this lesson with a class of mixed ability working at grades 4-7. There is extensive structuring and it is designed for short chunked sections.
There is a challenge task that can be used more heavily to take it up to the very top grades on this topic.

Whole lesson covering parts of both AQA 9-1 Physics P7.3 and P7.4.
Half a lesson on ionisation and the dangers of it and half a lesson based around watching demonstrations of the three types of radiation, the materials that stop it and the distance it travels.

It includes the required practical with a set up and structuring.
I have used this structuring with low, middle and high ability groups and it works every time.
For the starter print out each student a copy of the required practical method. Other than that, all the lesson is in the powerpoint.
