Christmas poetry and letter writing - a fun way to continue to teach high quality English lessons during the busy Christmas period. Two individual KS2 English lessons (which could be stretched to more lessons if needed) around the theme of Christmas. One lesson focuses on the art of writing a persuasive letter, with the hook of writing to Santa to persuade him to bring their desired presents.
