I have worked as an HLTA and MFL teacher for Secondary. These are mainly resources that I knocked up to suit my needs when I couldn't find what I was looking for, so I hope that they may be of use to you as well.
Subjects I tend to cover are Literacy/English and Modern Languages but the resources are varied.
A lot of the resources are differentiated and suitable for students with EAL or SEN, particularly in Key Stage 3.

Literacy
Students have to sort the words into the categories of nouns, adjectives, verbs and adverbs using a key and then write their own sentences. Used for KS3 SEN.
MFL - German
A quick quiz about Germany and German - this could be used at the start of the course to make links to other subjects and to the wider world.
MFL - German
Schiffe versenken Spiel - Haustiere
Instructions are included on the worksheet (print double sided). Example sentences are also included. Good for building up confidence with speaking and constructing sentence. Can also be used to teach question and answer skills.
You may wish to laminate the sheets and hand out board pens. I like this game because you don't need to be the best at German in the class to win! Set a time-limit and then see who managed to sink the most battleships!
If you use this resource, please think about leaving a rating or review - Danke!
Literacy
Students have to correct the sentences by putting in the missing capital letters.
Feel free to jazz it up!

MFL - German
Not sure why this has uploaded as a picture - hopefully it can be used as a worksheet to help learn school subjects and colours in German.
Literacy
A guideline for students to follow while doing a research task. This can then act as a basis for a further lesson on advertising holidays, or as a speaking and listening task - for example, for Entry Level or Step Up to English. It gives them some structure for learning computer room research skills.
MFL - German
This could be used as a quick starter or as an activity with SEN. I have modelled an example at the top half of the sheet and they have to fill in the gaps for the one below.
MFL - French
This was made as an easy visual revision sheet for a student (Year 9) with SEN to help them learn basic French verbs for a test. It was used in conjunction with precision teaching.
We also made connections with the words for revision, for example 'mange' sounding a bit like 'munch' and 'habite' sounding like 'habitat'.
Power point slides and reading exercise for French Key Stage 3 activity on Pets, including opinion phrases J'adore etc. Based on contestants in I'm a Celebrity Get Me Out of Here 2016.
Please leave a rating and comment if you find this useful!
MFL - German
Link learning nationalities in German to football teams. You may want to transfer this activity to a powerpoint and use it as an activity that way.
MFL - German
This could be used as a starter. I used it at the start of Year 8 with students with SEN to see what basic things they could remember about the German lessons in Year 7.
Literacy
This is a nice and easy alphabet game that everyone can take part in. I usually allow them to play in pairs.
The aim is to fill in the category columns with an answer for each letter.
For example for girls' names you might have Annie, Becky, Charlotte etc.
I also use it to reinforce the use of capital letters for names etc.
It also introduces an element of competition if you would like to use it that way.
Feel free to jazz it up!
Literacy
An on the board starter and a reading comprehension task based on the topic Holidays and Writing to Persuade or Advertise for an SEN KS3 class but could be adapted for others. The lesson before, students research different holidays. Here they learn what a holiday advert looks like before designing their own. Useful for Literacy classes or Entry Level / Step Up to English.
Feel free to jazz it up!

MFL - Not my original idea but adapted from a literacy resource, this pyramid aims to help students with their independent learning, specifically when writing. Most useful for GCSE or A-Level, however it can be used across all age groups and abilities due to the built in differentiation - the easier phrases are at the top of the pyramid and they get more complex as you go down. I have included a colour key on some phrases to also help with word order.
If you have the time and money, the idea is to laminate each side and to fix them together to make the pyramid as shown in the pictures.
The different sections are:
Opinions
Time Phrases and Sequencers
Higher Order Phrases
Connectives
I have uploaded the document and pics of how it should look once made.

French reading and translation activity for pets topic. Based on internet personality Doug the Pug! The animations mean the answers will only come on when you click and then the text underlines in red to provide support and sentence starters for students to produce their own missing pets poster.
If you download, please leave a rating and let me know how your lesson goes!
