Full lesson bundle including powerpoint (26 slide) and 6 worksheets for AQA Biopsychology module. 2 Video links on ppt as well. Covers the structure of a neuron, types of neurons and synaptic transmission.
Can be combined in a bundle with other biopsychology AS lessons.
It includes diagrams to label, card sort activity, fun question run activity starter and back to back drawing activity.
This is a full lesson of resources for the first two lessons (2-3 hours of teaching) for the Psychodynamic Approach. It includes Levels of Consciousness, Defence mechanisms and Id, Ego and Superego.
There are numerous activities and lots of video links throughout and a fun plenary desert island discussion activity which demonstrates the conflicts of Id, Ego and Superego.
I teach using the ppt and students make their notes into the provided “notes sheet” to save them copying too much from the board which has the activities inbedded throughout it.

This is a full lesson of resources for the Psychosexual stages of the Psychodynamic Approach.
It includes a ppt with activities and a video link in it. I teach using the ppt and the students make notes into the notes sheet to avoid writing too much. This notes sheet has activities inbedded in it for them to do as well.
For the stages, I place the cards of info around the room and they move around the room reading the cards of info and filling in their tables.

For AQA Psychology. This is a revision lesson on observations and designing observations. It is designed for second years, having already covered it in detail in the first year.
It includes a ppt and a notes sheet with activities throughout to check learning. The students complete the notes sheet as we work through the ppt so they have some bits to fill in and activities to complete.
It also includes a sample answer to a design an observation 12 mark essay and tips for achieving high marks in these questions. Plus there are a set of exam questions and a mark scheme to use.

This is a revision lesson on experiments, experimental designs and pilot studies. It is designed for second years, having already covered it in detail in the first year.

For AQA Psychology Specification. It covers Independent and Dependent Variables, Conditions, Extraneous and Confounding Variables, and Operationalisation.
It is a powerpoint with a notes sheet that the students take their notes into. This notes sheet then has numerous activities inbedded in it that the students complete throughout the lesson.
It takes me 1 hour 30 mins to cover this lesson using these resources.

This is 2 full lessons (90 mins each) on the multistore model of memory. I have included a notes sheet which the students take their notes into while going through the ppt which saves on time and keeps notes structured. The ppt has numerous video links on it.

For AQA Psychology. Full lesson and homework exam questions for the working model of memory, which takes me 1 hour 30 mins - 2 hours to complete. It covers all the key elements on the ppt and included is a notes sheet which the students complete as we work through the lesson to save on note taking.

Designed to recap the whole of first and second year biopsychology for AQA Psychology. Most topics are condensed to one manageable slide that can be turned into revision cards. Also included a key terms recap revision sheet as a bonus.
I give the students a copy of the student version (usually 2 slides to page) to complete and annotate while I go through the teacher version as a class. Sometimes asking them to complete sections before I go through it.
