A lesson based around a fictional character. It looks deeply into how particles behave in a metal and relates them to properties

This is a lesson that was used for a year 7 group where they mainly looked at gel cubes which were dyed with phenolphthalein and acid was dropped on different sized cubes to see rate of diffusion. I focused on the Skills side of the lesson and it was rated outstanding . I hope you find it useful.

These knowledge organisers challenge prior knowledge and then give the knowledge with a few test questions at the end. There is a slide with answers for all the questions too

This resource can be used in the middle of the topic or given for H/W to assess the students knowledge without the need to give a full test. This should hopefully help you to assess any weaker areas before finishing the topic.
