Describing teachers with added challenge of comparatives

In response to the new GCSE Specs I have been putting together some lessons on reading authentic texts. This lesson is about Cinema. I have used a template made by a colleague for this. It uses infographics and asks students to understand and adapt texts for themselves.

To go with the content of Mira 1 module 6. Includes opinions on town, comparatives, weather and future tense.

Parallel translation to go with Fui a un concierto, Mira 3 Los Medios.

Nothing special, just some job suggestions on individual slides, some with emojs.

I have adapted the 5 minute lesson plan to make it cover all bases for PGCE students and other ITTs. I have also included the reflection sheet that I made and printed with every lesson plan. These plans and reflections can be used as evidence against the standards and when printed out and filled in by hand can be lots quicker than other planning templates. I used these for my final assessment and for the majority of my lesson observations in the latter part of my training year, went down very well with the assessor.

A proforma I have created for giving feedback to AS students. I would assess them and then make comments in relation to the assessment criteria. I would expect them to respond with targets, WWW/EBI comments etc in their box.

Having seen some school values posters I decided to create my own for the classroom. Feel free to use as they are or use as a stepping stone to make your own. I've passed different versions of the French and Spanish around and I know there are some other ways of expressing them, hopefully these suit.

Grammar work and parallel translation to go with En Clase - Mira 1 Express

I have brought together a collection of resources to help prepare my AS students for the oral exam. There are 4 small pamphlets to be printed double sided and folded in 3. Thanks to the creators of the resources I have used. Sorry for any typos, I have done a lot of copying and pasting to pull these together. An end of term activity for students to work out the TV show, film, book or chart song from the literal Spanish translation. There are lots already about but none had up-to-date shows etc so here is my take.

I will be teaching La casa de Bernarda Alba for the first time in the autumn so I have put together some resources. I have used published guides for a lot of the content but have put into my own format. The SOW is a very rough first draft of what I intend to do.
