The lesson covers design and shape, children explore how to create zentangle patterns before creating a zentangle portrait using a photo of themsleves.

A complete English lesson, based around Alan Peat's '3 BAD - (dash) question?' Sentences. Suitable for KS2 (as the lesson is fully differentiated) Would fit neatly into a grammar or narrative unit based on sentence construction. Also works very well as a standalone skills lesson.
Children will learn about the special sentence type, practice writing them as a class, before completing independent work containing them. Fully differentiated 3 ways.

A complete lesson, PowerPoint and resources based around Greta Thunberg’s Ted Talk on climate change.
This lesson begins by looking at the recent ‘School strike for climate change’ movement. It then moves on to explore the features of Persuasive Speeches and the students will annotate the speech to show their understanding. The lesson uses AFORRESTPIE as a vehicle for exploring the features.

A narrative writing scheme of work, presentations and resources for a series of 12/13 lessons. The unit starts with a cold task, and ends by writing a short story (hot task) on a similar theme to the text.
Aimed at Upper KS2 but easily adaptable. Each lesson is differentiated at least 3 ways.

Lessons are designed to teach children how to write in a clear and concise way. In grammar starters and individual lessons there is a focus on editing basic errors and writing sentences that make sense.
This scheme was incredibly engaging and produced brilliant pieces of writing.

This is a SEF that I have written over time about our school. It is highly detailed - 29 pages and 20,000 words. This will save you hours of work, it is fully editable, in word and can be cut and paste.

PowerPoint is fully adaptable to your needs, but takes you through the lesson plan step by step. All of the resources are included too. The activities all lead to potential displays for your classroom.
1,. Growth mindset poster activity - feeds into a discussion about the type of learners we want to be.
2. Guess Who bunting - children design their own piece to match their characters, using likes and dislikes etc… Makes an effective display for the start of the year.
3. A passport which will provide space for key information about students and mini art works to complete on transition day. Suitable for KS2. Could be printed onto a single sheet of A3 to make it large enough for display. (this would make it A5 on each surface)
4. A blank mobile phone template - for a Selfie portrait activity and display. I did it Snap chat style with text and images too. Made a really great display for September.

This is a complete 5-week GEOGRAPHY scheme of work, based on the Extremes of Antarctica . Written for Upper Key Stage 1, but easily adapted to suit KS2.
