Canva is an excellent, free, design tool that can save you time and money. It makes sense to use this instead of paying for expensive designers. This resource comes in PPT form and a pdf. The PPT is 27 slides. This training PowerPoint and PDF is a basic step by step guide to get you started. A Facebook post is created for the purposes of an example, however, the skills learnt can be applied to other promotional documents such as Covers, brochures, posters, instagram posts, twitter posts, etc. You can use Canva to market your store, and / or use it as a class lesson. This diagram can be printed out for ESOL learners who are studying the future tenses. It covers Present Continuous, Present Simple, Be going to and Will. The diagram demonstrates both useage and form and provides examples. The can be incorporated into a lesson or used on its own. It also has a handout for students to complete. They do this by writing their own sentences into the speech bubbles using the correct form. When I used it, I had a colour copy enlarged to A3 and also provided the learners with an A4 copy. They very much appreciated it.

This is a 20 slide professional presentation that also contains word templates for learners to work on as part of the training presentation. The presentation includes step by step processes and you-tube examples. There is also a teachers document that contains extra information relating to the slides. A marketing plan is an essential document for a business to have. This resource provides a template for you or your team to work through to put together a workable plan with key objectives and actions to take. It could also be used for a project based task for schools. "If you fail to plan, you are planning to fail." Benjamin Franklin. It has been provided in a pdf and word document so that you can type in and edit as required.

Canva is an excellent, free, design tool that can save us time and money. It makes sense to use this instead of paying for expensive designers. This step by step guide addresses the problem of not being able to create a transparent background logo in Canva (without paying). When the background is white or doesn’t match your document, it ends up looking unprofessional. Solution:  The logo is created in Canva.  Once created and saved, we use a separate website to make the white background transparent.  It can then be used for multiple documents with ease and have that professional look to it.

This resource is for those that are new to Microsoft Excel and want to quickly learn and practice using calculations in Excel. The spreadsheet has a number of different sheets within it that have clear instructions and practice exercises to use for yourself or your learners to quickly master basic concepts. I have used this to teach students and workplace learners with much success. Covers addition, subtraction, multiplication and division on sheet 1. Sheet 2 has Autosum and subsequent sheets practice using these with common spreadsheets such as invoices and profit and loss scenarios.
