Dear RE teacher,
The attached resource is a lesson on the Bible. I have used this at Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 to help students get an insight into who God is for Christians through salvation history.
This resource is for The Birth of Jesus
The Lesson includes questions, images and a video link.
I hope it helps.
God Bless,
Reuben

I have put together a home learning booklet which students can work on to consolidate their knowledge or research new knowledge.
Within the work booklet are youtube research style activities.
Comprehension activities.
Label the image.
Exam style questions.
Stretch activities.
Read the Bible or the Torah research.
I have put together a revision work booklet for my A Level students, it consists of the following.
Overview of how the course works.
Description of exam requirements - possible grade boundaries etc.
List of topics for Developments in Christian Thought.
Three steps per unit:
Step 1. A list of key words for students to research and write up.
Step 2. A list of key concepts they need to know, this is taken from the specification.
Step 3. A** list of thinkers** who have commented on the topic area (and their pictures to aid memory). Sources of wisdom.
I then have added a page of possible exam questions. There are five from each topic area (30 in total).
Five blank essay planning sheets so that they can map out how they would answer an essay question.
A blank essay paper for them to attempt a timed essay.
I hope you find it as helpful as my year 13 students did. I will follow this up with a year two booklet. This is really student led and with the OCR A level book by Hodder they can easily work their way through the work booklet independantly.
Kind regards,
Reuben
