Rose Bold Creative was set up with a mission to make the world a more creative
connected and beautiful place. As the pace of life becomes increasingly frantic, rediscovering our creativity through art, craft, drama and design is a productive and enjoyable way to deepen our learning.
My resources include Art, Drama and other materials to bring creativity back to the classroom.

Drawing a mandala is a creative art activity with unlimited choice of colour, shape and pattern.
Drawing a Mandala is also a practical maths activity requiring the use of compasses to draw concentric circles, the use of protractors to measure and draw angles. It gives a very visual representation of repeating patterns and rotational symmetry.
It can be a highly enriching personal experience, contributing to feelings of peace, calm and well being. The shapes, colours and patterns can represent anything from your current state of mind to your most deeply-desired wish for yourself, for a loved one, or for humanity.
This worksheet takes students through the process step by step, and gives examples of finished mandalas. It requires a pencil, a pair of compasses and a protractor, although it is possible to draw one freehand using just a pencil if preferred.
