New AQA GCSE Sound waves

Made for the New AQA GCSE to be sat summer 2018. Requires two wooden blocks to generate a noise for the speed of sound practical. A large field is also desirable. Our field I used is roughly 260m long which gave a decent estimate for speed of sound at around ~310m/s.

Made for the New GCSE AQA Chemistry spec to be sat Summer 2018. Requires a small practical testing Metals with acids. The metals you choose to use are up to you, but I would recommend a range such as: - Magnesium ribbon - Zinc (use smaller granules than lumps otherwise it can react slower than large Iron filings due to surface area problems) - Iron (large filings) - Copper (any)

New GCSE AQA Chemistry Neutralisation and Titration with Required Practical

Made for the New GCSE AQA Chemistry spec to be sat Summer 2018. Essentially a 2-part lesson. Requires a titration example in the first part with a heavy focus on method and indicators. Second part is the including required practical assessment and presumes (due to course order) they have already done Chemical quantities and can calculate concentrations from titre values. I personally believe this required practical should have been in the Chemical quantities topic, but AQA have put it here instead.

New GCSE AQA Chemistry Redox Reactions

Made for the New GCSE AQA Chemistry spec to be sat Summer 2018. Involves a quick demo of burning FINE Iron filings (oxidation). Must be fine, the large ones don't oxidise quick enough. Also a practical of displacement reactions to show metals being oxidised AND reduced. Needs the following kit: - Zinc Sulphate - Copper Sulphate - Iron (II) Sulphate - Zinc - Copper - Iron
