Story Map Graphic Organizer
This simple story map graphic organizer helps students to succinctly organize their thinking about the different parts of stories. It may be used by students during read-alouds, guided reading and/or independent reading.
KWL Graphic Organizer - Printable
This KWL graphic organizer (What I know, what I want to know and what I learned) will help your students create an overview of their inquiry and learning about a topic. The graphic prompts will help students identify and organize information appropriate for each section of the chart.
Main Idea Graphic Organizer
This main idea graphic organizer allows students to branch their thinking out from a main idea/topic and develop it in greater detail and depth. The graphics provide students with visual prompts related to how they can layer their topic and more vividly explain it. I would recommend modelling how to use the organizer first with the whole class or in smaller guided groups before having students use it independently.
