This resource is an entire unit of work based upon the brilliant book ‘The Lost Thing’. There are 9 sessions with a wide variety of tasks. The questions have been carefully worded to be as similar as possible to ‘test style’ questions so children are regularly practicing skills that will need. The unit plan outlines the key teacher questions and points of discussion.

These differentiated worksheets are linked to the attached Youtube video. Lower achieving children use their vocabulary boxes to fill the gaps. More able students are challenged to write paragraphs using the given vocabulary. Highest achievers/ greater depth are challenged to come up with their own important vocabulary.
