Includes: Sibelius file with a basic Jazz Head class arrangement (this was given to me as a student teacher by a mentor, and I developed the scheme of work around this). A one-off lesson which I developed from a PowerPoint I was given back in 2010, combined with a screenshot of a worksheet I was sent. I tested this lesson last week and the kids loved it!

A lesson that I created to teach students in Year 9 how to compose Leit Motifs for characters and also “accompanying” music for an extended film sequence, using two contrasting genres of film music. The lesson includes a PowerPoint, Audio Clips, Edited Movie Clips and Composition Sheets.
