Anuncio Campamentos de verano (VIVA 2 - Module 5 )
A set of 2 poster templates to create an ad for a summer camp, an activity that appears in VIVA 2 Module 5 book (Unit 4). The structure will support the students with the information they are expected to include. One of the templates includes a section to practice “directions” from Unit 3 as well. Great as a homework, class work or as a distant learning worksheet.
Un conjunto de 2 plantillas de posters para crear un anuncio para un campamento de verano, que aparece en el libro VIVA 2 Módulo 5 (Unidad 4). La estructura de l ficha ayudará a los estudiantes con la información que deben incluir en su ejercicio. Una de las plantillas también incluye una sección para practicar “direcciones” de la Unidad 3. Viva 2 End of Module 1 Worksheet
Scaffolded worksheet with answers. Students will be able to combine present and preterit tenses in a single sentence using time/frequency expressions.
Based on Module 1 from Viva 2 book.
Saber y conocer
Worksheet: includes theory and exercises (subjunctive and indicative). Can be used for KS5 to learn when to use saber or conocer in Spanish (both mean “to know”). One exercise requires to select the right verb and in the right present (indicative) form, and another exercise requires to select the right verb saber/conocer in any form from present (indicative and subjunctive) or imperfect subjunctive.

Viva 1 Tapas y precios
Worksheet with answers. Useful to consolidate/revise “tapas” vocabulary and numbers (prices).
The worksheet contains three exercises:
On the first exercise, the students will need to put in order a number of “tapas” items which their prices spelled in Spanish from the least to the most expensive.
On the second exercise, the students will have to translate a number of “tapas” and other food/drink items into Spanish. For the answers, there are some boxes provided and in each box they will need to write a letter. Some of these boxes have little numbers on top, which will be used then to complete the secret message, which is the last exercise.
Answers to all of the exercises are included.
Propósitos de Año Nuevo / New year resolutions (Future plans)
This 4 pages worksheet includes 7 exercises in total. First, the students will revise vocabulary on infinitives and expressions that indicate future. Then, there is a reading activity, a grammar activity (underline infinitives, connectives…), a translation into English, a small questionarie (that can be a speaking activity in class). Finally, there is a small writing, where the students will produce in Spanish their own new year’s resolutions. This resource can be used as classwork, homework or remote learning. Perfect to revise future plans for GCSE, both Foundation and Higher (includes subjunctive).

Spanish English opposites cards taster (adjectives)
Set of cards to be printed double sided (or single sided and then stuck back to back) to learn/revise vocabulary in Spanish/English. They are a great tool to learn/revise adjectives and can be used in 3 different ways:
Spanish (uppercase) to English
English (lowercase) to Spanish
Opposites in either language (by flipping the card)
Can be adjusted/differentiated to the level of the students by giving them only the cards appropriate for their level.
It’s a great resource for self study and for revision, either individually or in pairs/groups.

This activity can be useful, especially for GCSE students, to help them improvise when tackling creative writing/speaking.
Segunda parte del recurso “Inventa una historia / Make up a story”. Esta actividad consiste de 4 nuevas fotos. Cada foto tiene al lado 3 preguntas que los estudiantes deberán primero traducir, y luego responder usando su imaginación. Las preguntas incluyen presente, pasado y futuro. Esta actividad puede ser útil, especialmente para estudiantes de GCSE, para ayudarles a improvisar cuando se enfrenten a actividades de escritura creativa y/o de comunicación verbal.
