An exam practice booklet for pupils to prepare for the shorter writing task on the IGCSE Edexcel exam paper.
There are 18 separate practice question on different topics from the syllabus with suggested model answers to translate into Spanish with answers and then space for pupils to write their own answer too. All the questions include a different ‘time frame’ word to ensure that pupils have to include another tense (preterite or future).
A translation game to get pupils producing accurate sentences about the basics: name, age, nationality, languages, family, pets & description.

Qu’est-ce que tu manges d’habitude? A reading comprehension with some complex structures & gloss followed by a comprehension task, translation of some phrases into English and then some recycling of language into French.
Resources for KS3/GCSE on the school subjects. There is a reading activity with 6 different sections to read and a comprehension task. There is a vocabulary hunt and then translation of sentences into English and Spanish.
The text introduces some more complex expressions (no sólo…sino también, tengo que admitir, me interesa) and also has a wide range of vocabulary.
There is also a Quiz Quiz Trade template for subjects & opinions, which can be adapted for more translation too.
