An exam practice booklet for pupils to prepare for the shorter writing task on the IGCSE Edexcel exam paper.
There are 18 separate practice question on different topics from the syllabus with suggested model answers to translate into Spanish with answers and then space for pupils to write their own answer too. All the questions include a different ‘time frame’ word to ensure that pupils have to include another tense (preterite or future).
A standalone resource on the topic of environment and social issues in my area. This is aimed at advanced KS3 or GCSE and will introduce pupils to a range of thematic vocabulary and structures. The activities include vocabulary exercises, reading comprehensions and translations into English.

Three speaking board games for preparing for GCSE/IGCSE speaking exams. One has 34 speaking questions and is of medium challenge, the second has 40 questions and has more challenging questions (targeting grades 7,8.9). The third has 60 + questions in range of tenses and are more challenging to push grade 8/9 pupils.
Pupils roll a dice and move around the board answering as they land on the questions. If they can give two sentences in response to the question to their partner, they can stay on the square they have moved to.

This is a resources to revise key subjunctive triggers in the context of their broader meaning: hope/ possibility/ doubt etc.
There are 38 key triggers to be sorted into 12 discrete categories and then all of these triggers are used and recycled in translation into Spanish on 3 of the new A Level themes (Edexcel) in sentences requiring los of thematic vocabulary: el mudo laboral, el impacto del turismo & la música.
A worksheet and a Quiz Quiz Trade activity I have used with pupils when teaching "lenguas y nacionalidades". The worksheet is standalone and will allow pupils to focus on countries, nationalities, languages and agreement. There is also a Quiz Quiz Trade activity which I cut up and pupils enjoyed using.
