GCSE Spanish Navidad: Christmas resources reading & translation

(0)
This resource has two parts - translation flashcards and a GCSE reading comprehension on Christmas. Flashcards: 28 sentences about Christmas to translate into Spanish, on flash cards which can be printed off and cut up so the answers appear on the reverse (use the PDF). The translations use a wide range of tenses, structures and, of course, Christmas vocabulary. This is one way to keep practising language skills, whilst bringing in some festive cheer. Reading comprehension: 3 people talk about their Christmas and pupils must chose which of the 8 statements are said by each person.

Three speaking board games for preparing for GCSE/IGCSE speaking exams. One has 34 speaking questions and is of medium challenge, the second has 40 questions and has more challenging questions (targeting grades 7,8.9). The third has 60 + questions in range of tenses and are more challenging to push grade 8/9 pupils. Pupils roll a dice and move around the board answering as they land on the questions. If they can give two sentences in response to the question to their partner, they can stay on the square they have moved to.
