A Powerpoint which walks pupils through describing actions and giving opinions in the past and future tense, building up to two translation pyramid exercises. Pyramid exercises can be used as standalones for starters/plenaries and slides are easy to edit.
A general knowledge of Germany and the German-speaking world, ideal for final lessons! Questions cover Geography, science, history and the German language.
There are 11 questions, each slide has its own animated ‘Countdown’ style timer with audio which is played by hovering over the clock and clicking play. Most slides have English translations which you can show by clicking if necessary. Vocabulary tested is suitable for first-year German learners, and more difficult questions show English translations.
The quiz takes around 30 minutes for questions and answers (answers included in slides)

This has proven invaluable in writing tasks where key terms are not problematic but pupils struggle to form sentences without “little words”!
